This book discusses the science of the brain and how what's happening in different parts of the brain affects behavior. It goes through case studies of two people in their work and home lives. In the first case study, things go badly. Then the author discusses something about the brain and then goes through the case study again in which the main character behaves differently based on whatever was just discussed about the brain and things go much better in the case study.

I suppose it was kind of interesting and has some helpful iinformation. I just found it incredibly boring and had a hard time getting through it. If I'm really interested in a book I'll read it in a few days, at the most. This book took me several weeks. I had to renew it from the library twice and then finally finished it the day before it the third due date.
