I liked some of the devices she used in the final book (switching between Bella and Jacob's view) and think that reviewers critique's of the book being too bizarre are crap. (It's a book about Werewolves and Vampire's! What do you expect it to be like, especially when Bella will be transformed herself. It's gonna be a little bizarre but then that is what all the others were leading up to!)
However, my one main problem is simple. Where is Edward?! We lose him in this book. Lose his thoughts and lose his voice. He becomes a supporting character and NO fan wanted to have to lose him. Even if you love Jacob and Edward equally as I do!

349918 did you read the excerpt from midnight sun? it totally gave me my edward fix that i was needing.

although i did notice that there was less edward-obsession in breaking dawn, it's not like he wasn't there. i contented myself with knowing that the lack of obsession was because bella could finally be confident they would always be together. i love edward immensely but i enjoyed reading him through someone else's eyes (jacob's) for once.

however, i totally agree with what you were saying about people's complaints. i read one which said that this book went against everything we knew about their world. um, hello. it's stephenie's world - she makes the rules.

boriqua! :)
