Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding
A little bit disappointing. I had seen the movie numerous times before reading the book, so I found myself (of course) picturing Renee Zellweger with everything. Plus, I guess in the movie all the 'singleton' stuff is funny and you see it as a whole two-hour experience; in the book, I was overwhelmed by all the annoying excessiveness of drinking, smoking, and complaining in general. Still a fun book and better ending than the movie:-)
