Bree's review
Possible Side Effects by Augusten Burroughs
I *hated* Running with Scissors- it smacked of false memories played up for humor. Dry was more redeeming. My friend Carrie handed me this book and told me to read the Nicorette chapters and that Augusten would forever be redeemed in my book. I read it, passed it on to my better half, and we both agree that while Augusten is irreparably scarred and a sad sad man, he can be funny as hell. For anyone who is hopelessly addicted to the Nic, this is how you tell your friends and loved ones why you chew the evil little tan squares.
