Samantha (Sam) has a unique ability. She is a Rippler, meaning that she can turn invisible. Unfortunately she does not have very good control of this rare genetic disorder and it occurs at some very inopportune moments - like when she is rafting down the river and her team-mates fear that she has drowned. This is the least of her worries though, as evil scientists are searching for her and any others like her. As the pace quickens, she realizes that in addition to dealing with all this new information, she is also falling for her good friend Will. Her secret could put both of them in extreme danger.

An excellent choice for those looking for something a little different in the paranormal romance genre. It's got an intriguing plot premise and believable characters - although sometimes Will seems a little too good to be true.
