I'll easily love anything with a greek mythology connection :) Creative how Carter writes her characters to emulate certain traits of the olympians. Overall a fast and cute read about a girl's love story with a different side of Hades we've never seen.

There are way too many bad reviews for this... um, it's young adult people, calm the fuck down. Were you really expecting some philosophical, mind-blowing epic tale? Of course it won't be completely accurate to the original mythology--it's an original creative take on it that is twisted to be catered to teens, with subtle references to the actual greek characters. I didn't think it was terrible. I thought it was pretty good for what it was.
