Somewhere In The Darkness by Walter Dean Myers
A short, quiet book about an estranged father and son and a cross-country journey. Didn't go to the places I expected it to go, and I'm excited about teaching it to my 9th graders this year. Not my favorite by Myers, but I plan on reading more by him.
