I got into Card's writing in 10th grade, Ender's Game, like most of his fans. I love the stories he tells with such ease. No other author can capture my whole attention like Card. I am so envious of his children and grandchildren who get to hear stories from him all the time. I can only imagine bedtime in the Card house.
Now to the book. I love how this book introduces us to more than one main character. Card and Johnston are very good at getting you to fall in love with all 3 instantly. I look forward also to seeing if "Imala" gets her own storyline as well.
My favorite by far was "Captain Wit O'Toole" though I wish he had more chapters. I really wish that more of "Mazor Rackam" would have appeared in this book as well, but in no way does that detract from how amazing this book was.
