it was amazing

I rarely buy books since I work at a Library, but this one had such good reviews that I couldn't wait until it came available at the library. Very glad I bought it, I couldn't put it down. Just the right mix of adventure, action, fantasy, and of course romance. If you like fast-paced adventure/suspense you will love it. The basic premise: Ismae is a daughter of death, meaning she was sired by Death himself and is trained as an assassin to carry out Death's wishes. However, Ismae must learn to find the right balance between strictly following her convent's missions for Death's and learning to believe in yourself and find true faith in your beliefs. Can't wait for book number 2 in the series.
