really liked it
bookshelves: fantasy, ghosts, high-school, mediator-series, paranormal, special-powers, ya

After moving from New York to California with her newly married mother, 16-year-old Susannah has to cope not only with her new stepbrothers, but also with the handsome ghost sitting in her new bedroom and the angry girl ghost haunting her new school. This is book #1 of the Mediator series. It is typical Meg Cabot, full of humor and very realistic teenage behavior and dialog. Even though the heroine is a medium, it doesn't change the fact that she is a "normal" teenage girl with the same problems all teenage girls have with friends, romance, and family. Readers will be anxious to read the next book in the series.
