I just finished reading Nineteen Minutes and sat holding the book in my hand only able to say WOW. An empty feeling in my stomach and my mind was racing. I have to admit almost 1/2 way through this book I knew in my mind how it might end, that part was a little disheartening because I like surprise endings usually but even so I couldn't put the book down. Jodi Picoult did an amazing job at showing insight to all of her characters and although the book jumps around from different times and different characters it still had a smooth kind of transitioning leading up to the end. I thought it was a great book, with that said I don't think I would ever read it again because I don't think I will be forgetting it any time soon. Being a child isn't easy, growing up isn't easy and being a parent isn't easy and I think this book shows all of that. The story itself is heartbreaking but well written. I am looking forward to reading more of Jodi Picoult's books.
