This book is focused on John Brinkley, a quack doctor who made his millions convincing men and women alike that their ailments would be cured with a simple transplant of goat glands.

Whoa. What?

Yep. Goat glands. That's all it takes. Brinkley builds a clinic specializing in insertion of goat glands in place of male testicles and female ovaries. Doesn't that sound SENSIBLE?

As bizarre as the story is, it's somehow fascinating to hear it all unfold. Brinkley is unbelievably successful, which is bizarre in itself.
