** spoiler alert ** When Meg goes with her boyfriend Michael to a fan convention for his cult TV show, it's a wild and crazy time. Parrots, monkeys, and tigers, oh my! Not to mention the murder of the lead actor and producer of the show make it a weekend to remember.

It's obvious from the book that this writer has been to a fan convention, no doubt about it. She hits all the right notes. She uses fan terminology and it gives the book a solid feel. If you've never been to a fan convention where they dress up like their favorite characters, have skits, watch the show, have panels with writers and actors, have room parties and dealers room, then you might not enjoy this as much as I did. I've been to DragonCon in Atlanta and some of Star Trek conventions, so I know she not making some of this stuff up. The word fan is short for fanatic for a reason. The monkeys and parrots all over the place might be over the top, but I wouldn't doubt it could happen.

This was extremely entertaining.
