I got this as an ARC from a Goodreads giveaway.

I was not at all familiar with this series prior to seeing it as a giveaway. Overall, I really thought it was very well written. I think my appreciation for it would have been better if I either read early books in the series or if I was more familiar with some of the culture. That said, I don't think you would have had to read early books to enjoy this.

I love the closed room mysteries and I thought this one was very well done. When I finished reading, I said outloud to my husband, "Well, I was right. It was exactly who I thought it was. Sort of. I had it down to two people and I was dead on." It was the kind of story that gives you enough clues to figure it out, but until almost the bitter end, you could make a convincing case for it to be another one or two.

Everything about the book was well done in my opinion andI really can't find a single fault. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because of my own issues, not with the writing.
