** spoiler alert ** Not one of his better novels but in good standing with Jesse Stone and R.B. Parker's writing style. Not crazy about the plot at first, why Brandman chose this as a second book plot is beyond me. Still, in the end, the book reads well, all ties together and the story moves like rapids once the reader (me) figures out what's going on with the rich teen girl. I wouldn't have written the plot this way and it was hard to determine which was the main story and which was the back story. We certainly knew who the love interest was, true to Jesse Stone's persona.
