It's so hard for me to sum up everything that is fantastic about this novel, it has romance and violence but it's also has mystery. I really enjoyed the three different stories that come together to the one book, the sneaky way that they all needed each other to make the others complete. Katherine Howe has a wonderful voice that comes through her books, they are intriguing and leave cliffhangers that made me curse, but then embrace the story and characters even more. Katherine Howe's first bookThe Physick Book of Deliverance Daneis also a great book and fantastic read, but to date I think The House of Velvet and Glass is my favorite Katherine Howe book!
