Read from April 28 to 29, 2012

I lucked out and got this e-book when it was free on Amazon a few weeks back.

The Good:

I adored the way the Mr. Holloman opened the story. Chuck E. Cheese was my favorite place to spend my Birthdays growing up, so that really struck home with me. The entire opening scene was endearing and well written.

The ending of the second scene was expected, yet I'd hoped it wouldn't happen. He did a great job of eliciting emotions in the readers.

The Bad:

I felt Daddy being used by the child 16 times in one scene was a bit repetitive. I understand the child was young, but I felt it was used way too much.

Over all it was a wonderful, emotional read that really tugs at the heartstrings throughout the story. Wonderful job Mr. Holloman. Thanks for writing this fabulous book and sharing it with us.
