I have read dozens of books about serial killers but I found myself becoming extremely disgusted-- and paranoid by this book. Perhaps that is a good thing. After reading about David Gore, I found myself looking at men that I passed and thinking, "would you do those sick twisted things?" At least with a guy like Joe Metheny, he looks like someone any rational person would stay away from. So in the end this book just made me feel--well--violated. Also it doesn't reveal anything earth-shattering. It left me thinking, maybe they should have delayed this book's pubication until they actually helped solved a cold case, because as it is currently written, it comes off as so much pornography. (Because, as I keep pointing out in my reviews, these authors are making money off the misery of others.)
