This was ok. I enjoyed the writing, but overall this didn't hang together well enough for me as a novel - mostly because it's not told in a linear fashion. I think we are switching back and forth to three different time periods, and I sometimes found that jarring, or needed a minute or two to figure out where we were. I think perhaps even more consistent chapter headings would have helped - just something with the name of the person who were were focusing on at that point - a little clue to the transition.
