it was amazing

This story is amazing and...sticky. The idea of hauntings as proposed by the narrator Imp slipped in through the cracks while I was reading and are still there after the book has been retired the shelf. I think they may be in my head for a good long while, hence the "sticky" designation.

After I finished reading it I wanted to go running around and waving it at friends and saying "read, read, read!" The narrative is twisty and you don't arrive at an end satisfied that strings are tied up and that you understand it all--it's beyond my capability to "review" in a meaningful way in part because of this--but following Imp's voice stretched my empathy and patience and attention and fear in the best possible ways.
