An engrossing first novel by a talented writer! Sara J. Henry is as interesting in real life as is her main character, Troy Chance, who makes a spur-of-the-moment decision with repercussions that literally change her life and put it in jeopardy.

This initial premise is unusual, and the plot moves briskly along, guaranteeing bleary eyes from reading far into the night, for the book is what I'd describe as un-put-down-able. The twists and turns were constant surprises to me, as I tried to guess where they would take her . . . and I was (to my absolute delight!) consistently wrong.

On April 25, 2012, Sara was awarded the coveted Mary Higgins Clark Award at The Mystery Writers of America Agents and Editors Party in New York - a prize that, in my opinion, was well-deserved.

Her new book is due out in November, and I can't wait to read what new plot and quirky characters are in store for us!
