I'm old enough to remember the black and white movie "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir". Maybe that's why I like the Haunted Bookshop Mysteries by Alice Kimberly (Cleo Coyle). Penelope McClure is a widow with a young son. She owns a bookstore and the bookstore has a resident ghost who happened to be a hard-boiled private investigator when he was alive. Fun characters. Well written. Quirky. Charming.
