GREAT book, give it 6 stars if I could. Masterfully written, utterly suspenseful, and very interesting! Now I have to go back and read the entire series from the beginning! That's OK, though, give me something to do awaiting the next book, because I just know there will be another! I had never heard of this series or the author, but thanks to Goodreads.com, I not only got to get acquainted with this series, but I got it free as an advance copy!
If you like suspense, then this is the book for you. If you want an easy read, this isn't it! This book engaged me from start to finish, very much a page turner. I liked it even better realizing that I didn't have to read the entire series before reading this one, it can very easily be a stand-alone book.
