Lost It

This is probably one of the funniest books I've read in awhile. From the very first page until near the end I giggled my way through it.
Tess is a great main character - flaws and all. In case you missed some other reviews I've written, flawed characters are my favorite. Tess is a worrier like no other...she hates wildlife because she's afraid she's going to be eaten. She worries about her parents. About her best friend, Zena, who wants to blow up a poodle.
And about losing her virginity and what that means.
Tess is very blunt, she tends to say what's on her mind without thinking of the consequences. Ben says that's what he likes most about her. And Ben doesn't seem to mind Tess's idiosyncrasies. For a while I wondered if that's because he wanted sex from her.
Tess's grandmother is awesome. Everyone should have at least one grandma like hers. Tess's parents are a bit...weird, but they made me giggle as well.
Definitely a fun little read that you can probably get through in a few hours.
