I was greatly intrigued by the viral epidemic the book discusses. More so by the fact that it could very well happen. I also found the "oral biography" writing style, while difficult to grasp at first, to be surprisingly enjoyable and complimentary to the story in every way imaginable.

I enjoy Chuck Palahniuk's apocalyptic storytelling abilities. Now if only I could get his monotone voice out of my head whenever I read...or maybe he wants that to stay?]]>
