Take a diverse group of people living in London, some native Londoners and some "adopted" Londoners, and ask them to relate their experiences of this city. This book is basically this concept, with abstracts from your homeless man to the female tube-train VoiceOver person. It is interesting, but I'm afraid by the time I got to half-way through, I got a little bored and started craving for a story and a plot and something compelling to keep me going. For this reason I have stopped half-way through. I may come back to this book and read the second half at some later date, but I just thought there were possibly a few too many interviews to enjoy in one read-through.
