I only enjoy dystopian fiction if I can feel relative emotions on the page. Sure, it is entertaining; but it made me mad. Is this what society values: a pageant of gore and superfluously fallen innocence? I appreciate Collins for her efforts in presaging a downfall of modern man to the pits of primordial instinct. It's an escape for readers. Well done, Suzanne. The problem is, I don't care. Some excellent writing but not a notable book despite its following. Enjoyed the movie!
