The Sun Also Rises talks about the complicated American affair and love crisis. This story has the idea of a love square as these four men are all attracted to this one woman and is made to believe that she admires them all. The woman's fiancée is brought to believe that she is in love with him but truly she is not. The group of lovers travel to Pamplona for fishing and bull fighting where they are all together which should definitely create lot's of tension, drama and jealousy that could get ugly. Book contains great description for a realistic interpretation of life in America in the 1920s/30s.

I picked this book up to the inspiration and motivation of this great American classical writer. This book was considered to be his greatest work so I wanted to see the writing style and use of words that made this book so celebrated.

I actually didn't get to finish this book because of the due date that i had to return. But i definitely would of finished it and i might reread this book again some other time. I have gotten to where most of the characters drift off the main story and it becomes a two character story at Burqueta. The characters definitely have to come back to the picture and i want to read about it.

I recommend this to Janaan since he seems to enjoy long, thick fiction books. I believe that although this book isn't the longest it TAKES long to finish and i want to hear his opinion.

That's true love, when everybody has moved on and changed and the feelings are still there. Love that withstands time and all sorts of troubles. But why can't those two be together? Let's find out!"

Will all the other characters meet later at the river? The characters seem so different and the main thing in common they all share are romantic affairs with Brett. Does she even truly love Michael?"
