This book was a pleasant surprise. I'd never heard of it and a friend gave it to me to read on vacation. It was worth the read! I really like the story but honestly, Veronica Rossi's writing style grated on a me a little. It also seemed really rushed in a lot of places, the book could have been much longer if adequate time had been spent where needed. I found myself wanting to say "Slow down!" "Describe that!" "What happened between then and now?" Wasn't bad/annoying enough for me not to rate it well. The four stars are for creativity, world development, and characters. I really like Perry's character, his story, and his own personal pain and conflict. He was very balanced, and fun to read.
