Read from September 17 to 18, 2012 — I own a copy, read count: Two

This is a dark story with some elements a few people may get offended about. It is a hard hitting, no holds bar story that brings up abuse, rape and murder.

Sometimes in seeking vengeance, you can find what you really need. That is what Joel finds out while he is seeking vengeance on the man that changed his life 20 years ago. Finding Tracy during his quest changed everything for him. Tracy is in an abusive relationship with a Crime Boss. Lost in the pain and hopelessness of her life, she learns that you can find love in the most unlikely situation.

Shiloh has done it again. She brings out so much emotion in her writing you can’t help but feel what she writes. I enjoyed this story, even with all the dark edges to it. One thing I wish was that it was a bit longer. Because it is a short story it moves very fast and leaves you feeling a bit rushed at times. Over all this was a great read.
