This play was a good read. It was interesting with decent characters and enough plot twists to keep me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to know the conclusion.

It is, however, heavy with J. B. Priestley’s own political ideologies and motives, and presents a fairly biased perspective on politics and society. The man absolutely loathed capitalism, so any passionate supporters of right wing politics may find themselves affronted. I'm pretty left myself, but even I found the socialist themes too heavy.

It’s worth a read, though (or a watch, which I guess is how it’s “meant” to be experienced).
