Maybe it's because I had to pay for this one? I was more disappointed in it than in any other Wodehouse book I've read yet. Maybe it's 'cause I have no idea how gambling on horse racing works and it felt like 3/4 of the stories in here were riffs on that.

Whatever the reason, this one wasn't for me. I might see about working my way through one of the other series before returning to this one.

It seems rummy that water should be so much wetter when you go into it with your clothes on than when you're just bathing, but take it from me that it is.
