Just started, but the series is wildly entertaining. The series is about the last living Druid, being a couple millenia old. However, he disguises himself as a weird, bookish herbalist and book seller in Tempe AZ, affecting the lingo of the young and hip. He also has a really cool Wolfhound capable of mindreading and eating prodigious quantities of sausages, which he wheedles out of everyone, mortal, god or other.

The thing is Atticus O'Sullivan (his name) is just someone you would like, and Kevin Hearne is an old-fashioned good storyteller, regardless of the subject matter.

P.S. A quick read--fun, but too short! Smart as he is, the gods Coyote, et al. usually have a surprise for him, and this was no exception. I am waiting now to have his apprentice come into her own. I think she is a whole new take on the series.
