I think this book is so good with a 14 year-old named Reese was serving time at detention facility. But gets a life lesson in making it through hard times. When I read this book it makes me think what Reese is going to do now that he's in the detention facility since he has been lock up. The author himslef was a high school dropout so sometimes he vist these young teens in juvie. So while he was writing Lockdown, he reread Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. He also enjoy speaking in schools as well.
