Review It! Books
I am really enjoying this series, in part because many of the relationships are so established. These characters know each other, and that is part of the charm. That does not mean that things always stay the same. Part of the joy is seeing how relationships evolve and grow as the books unfold.
There are enough new comers in the mix as well, with the addition of Hope, the out of town inn keeper. It is nice to see things through 'The Inn Keepers' eyes every once and a while.
I am looking forward to the final book in the series.
Some have posted reviews stating that the books are no more than a published form of a brochure for the inn itself, conniving to make us all want to book a room. If that is the case they have me. Sign me up! I don't mind the detail about the decor or the time spent describing the town. For me, it adds to the charm and makes the places, especially the inn, their own characters.
As for those that say that Nora Roberts is trying to manipulate readers into coming to her home town. So what? I applaud her for supporting her town, creating jobs and bettering her community. Good for her!
All in all it is another good read, and great way to spend a rainy spring day. Can't ask for more than that!
