Cinder Wyatt has one objective: Move across country to escape the violent life she had with her ex-husband and hide until…whenever.

But when she meets Giancarlo Piasanti, a martial arts expert with his own dojo. She gets more than she bargained for. She takes lessons with him, meets his friends and for a while the threat of her ex coming to find her is lessened. She falls for the handsome Giancarlo and excels in defending herself, thanks to his private lessons.

The author seems to have infused so many different cultures, flavorful foods ideas I want to try, and kick butt scenes to make this book as appealing as any page turning romance should be. It is high octane and could be a Lifetime movie(if any producers are interested…?)

Burn is an interracial romance filled with hope love and a cast who shows friendship in more than just a name.

If you like the movie ‘Enough’ with Jennifer Lopez, then you’ll love this story.
Quote Tidbits: “Sheer, white silk wrapped around Cinder’s body, leaving one shoulder exposed and covered everything that needed covering while still starting Gian’s mouth watering”(Burn: Crystal Hubbard, 2010, pg. 205)
