I like travel stories so this was a good pick for me. Love the idea of living in a new place for 5 years.

Love how he takes such little differences between the French and the Americans and use it to explain why we have such different ways of life and thought.

Also, love the brass ring analogy and that the story ends utilizing it (not going to give it away)
