I love anything that Tomie dePaola illustrates - everything is so pleasing to the eye. This one is part of his Legends series and tells the story of Little Gopher who is smaller than the other boys in his tribe and recieves a "Dreamvision" that lets him know that he is not to be a hunter like the others but an artist. Good message, beautiful story.
