really liked it

Ohhhh I LOVE how this book is crafted. A journey through time and stories, following the many lives that touched or were touched by a single volume. Mmmm. My only gripe was the romance that was part of the contemporary framework. Ehh. However, this is a lovely, exciting work. In that clever, contemporary patchwork-story category with David Mitchell's CLOUD ATLAS and Michael Cunningham's SPECIMEN DAYS (both of which you should read. Like, now).
