Children, teens and adults will love this fun, Charlie and the Chocolate factory-esque novel. Leo Fillmore is the son of the Whippet Hotel's maintenence man. He knows the ins and outs of the hotel and loves it. When Mr. Whippet, the creator and owner of the hotel, goes missing for 100 days he begins to worry. Then a purple box turns up in the duck elevator, yes an elevator dedicated to Mr. Whippets ducks and challenges Leo to solve the mystery and save the Whippet hotel. Very entertaining and descriptive.
