it was ok

The piece entails a man building a machine capable of flight that he hopes to take from France to England. I thought that this story had a creative plot line. However, I found the illustrations to follow directly along with the text, so I felt that the illustrations could have done more to develop the story. I also wish that there had been more factual information, I think that by adding more facts the story would appeal to more readers. The only area I could see using the book would be to possibly introduce a science lesson or to demonstrate how people develop their own goals/dreams. I think that even those lessons would be a stretch though and think that there are stronger book choices out there for a classroom wide book.
