really liked it
Read in April, 2012

** spoiler alert ** Started and finished within a single trip from Seattle to Buffalo.

When I look back and summarize the plot, it sounds pretty basic:
- prosecutor falls madly in love with a homeopath, and is also wowed by her remedy for his physical ailments
- homeopath is accused of contributing to the death of a patient
- prosecutor helps the homeopath modify case notes to ensure prosecution is unlikely
- homeopath still feels guilty, ultimately running away to start fresh

But, despite being someone who generally needs a more complex plot to catch my interest, I really liked this book a lot. I found the characters realistic, fleshed out well, and I connected with them. Just a good small-town drama that was entirely plausible to me.

Would recommend to others.
