An excellent book that addresses how racism and prejudice blocked the justice and fairness due to a family whose mother/grandmother/wife gave her life without knowing that she was giving life to thousands of others. In the midst of scientific terminology the "real" story of a family deliberately kept in the dark about the role Henrietta'Lack's cancerous tumor played in advancing cancer research since 1951 through HeLa cells.
