it was amazing

This is one of the most interesting books I have read in a very long time. It discusses the way judeo-christian religions stomped out goddess-worshipping religions, and how our patriarchal society incorrectly interprets and describes the goddess religions.

Most interesting to me was the discussion of the Adam and Eve story, which, once you read about the symbolism of serpants, fig leaves, etc., is clearly a political move to get people to stop trusting and worshiping a female deity.
