This book was REALLY good for me. It helped me see some of my own life-issues more clearly. I enjoyed watching the author wrestle through his theology, too.

I enjoyed it for reasons the author did NOT intend, I must say. In other words, for me, the book is a well-written novel. I enjoyed immensely how the author 'pointed out' how some of my thoughts on God (theology) can look pretty silly when seen in a different light!

But more than anything, the book proved helpful during this season of my own 'digging in the dirt' of my life & past. Not for 'spiritual' reasons but rather as a good novel that drew out my self-understanding of my leadership, relationship, and emotional ideas & habits.
