it was amazing

I liked McDougall's writing quite a bit - but what I most enjoyed was the balance of crazy running tales and the science of better running. I'm completely inspired to start adapting my running style closer and closer to barefoot.
By the time I got to the end of the book, I felt almost as elated as the racers in the Copper Canyons. I only wish I had read this book earlier. While I was in Colorado last month, I learned about the death of Caballo Blanco, one of the main characters in the book. I'm so glad he was able to see his race become a reality before he went on that last run in New Mexico.
I couldn't put this book down while on vacation last weekend. Great stuff.
