This was an easy read. It was not her best book but it was quite is about a family that returns home for their father's funeral. The siblings do not get along.
There is much animosity between them which made me cringe at times. However, by the time the funeral service takes place they are able to forgive each other
And have a good relationship. Ellen, the oldest sibling has a marriage that is near the breaking point. This relationship is also restored a little prior to the funeral and during the service. It is a little simplistic but also inspirational.
