This book is about a girl called Tracy Beaker. She thinks life is unfair 'coz she's a naughty girl in care. She convinces herself that one day, her mum will come back for her; but in the end, she findds Cam (short for Camilla) whom she simply adores. In the end Tracy even becomes kind/friendly to Justine "Littlebrain" Littlewood (who is her deadly enemy.) Throughout this book, Tracy learns to love, befriend, cry, apologise, hope, wish, share, be kind and realise her mum isn't ever coming to get her away from "the Dumping Ground." It is hard, but she does it; even if it does mean punching people in the nose a few times. This book will make you laugh and also make you realise that life in care isn't that bad.
