Wow, maybe I missed the point on this one, as the reviews on Audible were so high. I found the story disjointed and hard to follow. Perhaps it was a cultural thing, but I didn't see what the real point was and felt no closure at the end.

Update: After traveling to Croatia and then trying this book again, I loved it. I understood a lot more after speaking to people who went through the war for independence. My only regret is that there is still no closure at the end.
