This is about Casey who survived an accident (that really wasn't an accident) and is in a coma. The catch in this story is Casey is aware and can hear everyone around her. Casey finds out that her accident was deliberate and she tried to find out who attempted to killed her. Suspects are, jealous sister, jealous friend, or maybe even the husband.

This book was tough. It was hard for me to figure out what narrative was background noise from the soap oprea on the television (Casey's television in her hospital room is always on), what was a nightmare Casey was experiencing, what was a memory from the past she was daydreaming about, and what was currently the present. Once I got to the middle of the book, I found out who the killer was and why. The book really picks up speed then, which was different; usually, books start out great and end slow... not this one though.
